Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for shopping with ApnaDukan. Please read this policy carefully before requesting a return — it explains exactly what is and isn’t eligible.

7-Day Return Window (Unused Items Only)

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery, strictly for change-of-mind or wrong-item cases. After 7 days, no return, refund, or exchange request will be accepted under any circumstances.

General Conditions for a Valid Return

To be eligible, the item must be:

  • Completely unused, unwashed, unworn, and uninstalled
  • In its original, undamaged packaging with all seals, tags, manuals, accessories, and freebies intact
  • Accompanied by the order number/receipt
  • Returned via our own courier/pickup process only — self-shipped returns without prior approval will not be accepted

Any item returned without meeting all of the above will be rejected and sent back to the customer at their own cost.

⚡ Electrical & Electronic Products — Special Conditions

Because electrical items cannot be resold once used, the following strict rules apply to all fans, chargers, kitchen appliances, gadgets, lights, and any powered device:

  • No change-of-mind returns once the item has been plugged in, switched on, or its seal/box has been opened. Electrical items can only be returned in fully sealed, factory-packed condition.
  • A return/replacement will only be accepted if the item is confirmed dead-on-arrival (DOA) or has a genuine manufacturing fault, reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Customer must record an unboxing video (uncut, from before opening the package to testing the item) for any electrical item priced above Rs. 1,000. Damage or defect claims without unboxing video proof will not be accepted.
  • Physical damage, burn marks, water damage, voltage/current misuse, or signs of tampering/opening by the customer will void any claim immediately.
  • Items with a manufacturer warranty (motors, compressors, batteries etc.) must be claimed through the manufacturer’s own service center, not through us, once our 7-day window has passed.
  • No cash refund on electrical items — eligible claims are resolved via free replacement first; refund is only issued if a replacement is unavailable.

Non-Returnable Items (No Exceptions)

  • Opened/used personal care, beauty, and hygiene products
  • Innerwear, socks, and swimwear
  • Perishable or consumable item
  • Any electrical item that has been powered on, installed, or removed from its sealed packaging (see above)

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item Received

Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos/video (and unboxing video for electricals). Once verified, we arrange a free replacement or refund — no cost to the customer. Claims reported after 48 hours, or without proper video/photo proof, will not be honored.

Restocking Fee

Approved change-of-mind returns (non-electrical) may be subject to a 20–30% restocking fee, deducted from the refund, to cover handling and repackaging.

How to Request a Return

  1. Contact us at 03043128576 through whatsapp or info@apnadukan.com with your order number, reason, and required photo/video proof.
  2. We will confirm eligibility in writing before any pickup is arranged.
  3. Items are inspected on arrival at our facility — approval is final only after inspection, not at the time of pickup.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days, via original payment method, bank transfer, or store credit (for Cash on Delivery orders). We reserve the right to offer store credit instead of cash refund for change-of-mind returns.

Return Shipping Cost

Customer bears return shipping cost for all change-of-mind returns. We bear the cost only for confirmed defective, damaged, or wrong items.

Products from Third-Party Sellers

All items — including those from partner sellers — follow this exact policy. Contact us directly; we coordinate with the seller on your behalf.

Final Decision

ApnaDukan reserves the right to reject any return request that does not meet the above conditions, and our inspection team’s decision on eligibility is final.
